Don't Let Your Investment Rot

If you own shirts worth hundreds of dollars, you can't just throw them in a plastic bin. Proper care is essential for maintaining liquidity in the market.

The Do's and Don'ts

DO: Fold, Don't Hang

Hanging vintage shirts for long periods can cause "shoulder nipples" and stretch the neckline. Folding them flat in a cool, dry place is best.

DO: Use Cotton Storage Bags

Avoid plastic bins if possible. Plastic can trap moisture and chemicals that lead to yellowing or dry rot. Breathable cotton bags or archival boxes are ideal.

DON'T: Use Sunlight

UV rays are the enemy of vintage ink. Never store or display your shirts in direct sunlight—it will fade the graphics and weaken the fibers.

DO: Wash Carefully

If you must wash, use cold water, a gentle detergent, and **never use a dryer**. Air dry only.

We only buy shirts that have been cared for. If your collection is in top shape, we'll pay top dollar.
